Age of conan is a kinda new so I guess there is a good part off bug in the lvls that didnt get reached by the beta players But in a few months, many people reach the higher lvls i guess that much will be fixed ^^
Nearly all games are buggy in the biggining (ok all)

And ur friend isnt the only one that say its buggy (many people does)
