Ok, some of you may have noticed our newest section, Post for cash. This section has been created to reward you guys for the great content that you post.

This is the way to make up to 2$ for each guide you write solely for D3scene.

1- Write up a great new guide on any topic that we support.
2- post in into our new section, Post for cash.
3- Wait for a staff member to review it and PM you for your paypal info.

Ways to make your thread worth more-

1- Add linkbacks to various sites such as Furl, spurl, or flashdot!
2- Use descriptive thread titles, such as "[Guide] Create a WotLK 3... Private server"

What we will not pay for

1- A post with any guide, program, or content as your own if it is not. We will not pay for ripped threads, and you will be infracted.
2- Any post that was already posted. We will pay for posts only if they are posted, in their entirety, in Post for cash.

Best of luck to all of you, and we hope to be paying you for some of your great threads really soon.

When you are opening a thread make sure that you are using a meaningful title. Titles like "help me plz" don't help whereas titles where you

-Titles must be be descriptive and informative: "Plz help me!!!" is not a good title, same applies to "help with WoW". Try to give a summary of what your actual problem is. If you are getting an error message somewhere, then that error message might be a good title for your thread. Be as descriptive as possible!

-Make sure to use consistent capitalization: Capitalization is only to be used for the first word and proper names. Don't capitalize every word and don't mix proper with improper capitalization. "D3MH fails to start" or "Problem with D3MH start up" but not "Need help With D3MH".

-Use reasonable and appropriate punctuation: There's no need for "?!?!?!?!?!" or ".............. wtf......". Excessive punctuation often hurts the descriptiveness of titles.

-Avoid prefixes if possible: Ttoo many prefixes are usually not helpful. If you are posting something in a Guide forum, then applying a [Guide] prefix is rather useless. A good thread title like "Warcraft 3 hosting guide" makes a [guide] prefix useless.

D3scene.com is looking for experienced users. If you know a lot about a computer game and would like to help us moderating then please let us know. Drop a short post in our Application-Board and we will then in most cases promote you as a moderator. That way you help us to make sure that every user gets help and that we stay up to date.

Next thing: Make sure that you reward other users with reputation. If someone is helpful or posted something useful, then drop the rep hammer on him. If you are unsure how to: simply click a small icon in his post:
