Some people asked me what actually
Stat Padding is. This topic is ment to explain you, what
stat padding is, what are the
advantages of stat padding,
how you can stat pad and what the dangers are.
Stat padding is useful if you would like to get medals in Battlefield 2 quickly or just an higher rank. It can be very hard to get a lot of points on public servers. The idea of stat padding is very simple, you do something that gives points all over the time again...
Here a short example:
-2 Us and 1 MEC.
--Both US are medics.
-The MEC uses the kit he would like to get points with
-The MEC kills one of the US (that dying player is named dummy because he doesn't do anything)
-The non-dummy US resurrects the dummy
-The MEC kills the dummy again
-Repeat this till you have
500 points max.
Here is a good video I came across that gives an example of stat padding:
YouTube - BF2 Stat Padders 1
EA has its mechanism to detect stat padders. I read on a few forums that the risk of a banning increases greatly once you have more than 500 points. So all in all: Do not go over 500 points or you risk a ban!
I made 10.000 points on one day which is quite a lot with 500 points every round lasting 20 minutes. Normally I have around 50 in 30 minutes. That is allmost 13* speed of normal point-farming.
Feedback is appreciated.
