:evil::evil:warning...if your day's been peachy and you don't want to feel a little down...don't read this!!!!!!:evil::evil:

do the bloody challenge!! i want to see what you guys think!

so i was having an absolute peachy day  today, the suns shining and its not to hot yet, i am outside talking to some friends and my new gf  so i am sitting outside with my phone doing online summer school classes, because i really need the credit,
anyway.......
so i am all happy and then i start reading about this days unit, suicide prevention.
what a total happy thought ruiner
see, i don't consider myself emo but sometimes i do think, well you know.
so i am not think about jumping off an overpass (no bridges here) right now, but its really depressing know that i know that 1 out of 4 people i see tonight will have really though about eating it.
and 1 out of 20 people will of had a friend that has actually committed suicide.
depressing ant it? just think about it, you in a packed movie theater for the opening of the hulk, theres probably 200+ ppl in there with you, 1 out of 30 some will of tried to kill themselves and have either been talked out of it, or jumped off a 10 story building and landed on a 9 story building.
now see i am not here to say NO! don't, (well ok, don't) i was actually writing this because i was a little depressed and wanted something to keep my mind off boredom, because thats when i dream up my crazy ideas/projects, but tonight, i cant keep my mind off one topic, how many lives would it change if someone died? alot i think, in fact ill list all the things i do that impact other ppl:
the amp corp would get 1.00 dollar less a day
someone else would live in my home (dump)
according to myspace, there would be 7 ppl with out a friend, and one less person would have a hero
there would of never been "the day of emo pancakes"
there would be one less kid who put a paper bag on his head and lit it on fire
there would be one less person harrasing the ppl of az
one less kid with a fading English/Scottish ascent
a hell of a lot of birds would still be alive (lock and load)
there would be no one who started a thread with the word peachy
and so on.

so to sum up everything, just shoot me a comment on if you agree or disagree about:
does subside prevention speeches and papers really make an impact?
does it make people think about suicide when they may not of (give ppl the idea)?

THE CHALLENGE:
WRITE A LIST OF THE STUFF THAT WOULDN'T OF HAPPENED IF YOU HADN'T DONE THEM, JUST LIKE I DID.

so here it is, the long awaited 35 boom boom support shell!!!

background: this isn't much of a project this is more of a, extreme project that i felt wasn't worth posting in g/c because it seems totally insane.

it is insane. don't try doing it unless you really want to.

alright, here the math stuff.

next get alot of card board and build a wide cylinder and make it about 4 feet tall.
attack 3 to 4 fins made of cardboard that is reinforced with metal strips (put little metal strip's in the cardboard)
this is called the support shell

next cover the card board with tin foil, this will protect it form the heat/elements it will have to go through when its launching, (keep in mind this is going to be flying at over 350 miles an hours)
then to further increase its restancy,
paint it with gloss paint
use indistral grade tin foil
double layer

now weigh the support shell,
now figure out how much force you will need on each side of the rocket shell,

this is what i did.
start by attaching 10n (10 newtons) of force to each side, at the area in between the fins. i used 10 rockets, which stretched all the way around the rocket.

equation:
a is the weight
c is the rocket power
y is the rocket weight
dB is the tagert range
dct is the overall force being exerted on it at maxium force.

now make a secondary iginitoion wire. (this will lite the second and third rocket rows off)
this is a crucial step in building a support shell.
if the second stage doesn't go off, the rocket will come screaming back down. if its empty and comes back down it will reach a speed of 890 mph, or fast enough to burn up. so if its got a project in it, it will go even faster.

ignition wire: your going to have to make 1 wire for ever link, i had to make 25+
10 inches of twine that has been soaked in gasoline, and anything else that is flammable.
coil it a few times on the top of the fuel in the rocket, then run the rest into the 2nd stage rocket, then plug it with a capasitor, not the normal plastic plugs that come with the engines, they will melt.
and do this for as many stages as you need

if were linked here by one of my other guides, there may be some mods you need to do.

and thats it.

DISCAMIER: dont be an idiot with any of my inventions, dont use any of my invertions to intentionsally harm other ppl, dont look into the explsoino or a tnt, dont crack under presseure from peers and do somthing that could be fatal, (god i am sounding like my mom...dont, dont, dont lol) and always take the necessary percautions to prevent injury. and lastly, have fun!!!
by reading any part of this article you are bound to this agrement
DISCAMIER2: DONT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A FIRE EXTINGHUSER HANDY!!!!

fun factor: low

prep time: high, it really depends on if you have the materials, and how big of a brand your gona make.

risk of accident: this is determinted on your stupidy level, so in my case, moderate =)

cost of making: well tnt's are cheap after the 4 o july in the us, that usully where i get mine form. other wise they can be pricy

tnt's as i commonly refer to them are more know as tnt poppers, (not fire works) they look like (this is a big box of em) (duh)

ok so what ya do is first strip off the cardboard covering (the thing that hold the stremers in) then take out the "guts" (the stremets) you then should see the fuse, its a littel string with what appears to be paper wrapped around it. pull it out (no dont set it off) just use some needle nose plires or ur finger to grab it and pull softly you dont wat it going off, (it wont hurt if it does, but it isnt a plesent felling) and wa-la you got one, most of my stuff takes 20-500 so...have fun =)

to truly link them, simply hot glue the strings togeather to form a long chaning the TAPE DONT GLUE the fuses togeather, if you glue them they MAY go off due to extreme heat, your done!!!!

note: i have blow may of these up in my hands they dont hurt to bad, but they arent great felings.

DISCAMIER: dont be an idiot with any of my inventions, dont use any of my invertions to intentionsally harm other ppl, dont crack under presseure from peers and do somthing that could be fatal, and always take the necessary percautions to prevent injury. and lastly, have fun!!!
by reading any part of this article you are bound to this agrement

fun factor: high

prep time: well, it depends on how much your dog craps.......

risk of accident: low

cost of making: ......its dog crap, you were just gona throw it away anyway.....right?

no were not talking about huge explosives that blow building to pices, were talking about dog crap! (duh)

ok so i have to unlucky task of removing these brown land mine that my dog leaves everwere, so one day while i was doing this (and listing to linkin park, lieing for you) i was tinking wouldnt it be cool to actually find a use for these pices of crap? (heck yes it would) so i though, well what do i do with sometimng i dont even want to touch? (well duh! make other ppl touch it!!!!) so i tought well i cant just run up and drop it down somones shirt (or could i ?.....no ide get into troubel) so then i though well lets jsut blow it up, (thats my first idea with everything.....like when ppl ask me, hey my car wont start, i say drop a match in the gas tank, see if that works, anyway.....)

[this is the part in ever project were you say....lets hope this works, and we dont end up on cnn/bbc, or for that matter, a hospital bed]

so in the end i decided that i would have to rigg it with so kind of force that would push the crap out-ward, (a tnt x300) (incase you dont know what that is, refer to my guide on rigging tnt's) http://www.d3scene.com/forum/blogs/3...ing-tnt-s.html
anyway, first i found a starbucks, small cup (what evea its called) and punched a really obber small hole in the side, (to run the detonator pull string throuhg) so i filled a starbucks cup 1/4 of the wy with musshy dog carp, then insteted the bundle of tnt, (dont forget to push the string through the hole) then filled the other 3/4 of the cup inserted the lid, hot glued it, and all the weak points, like the little silit in the top, and the place were the side walls meet, on for a more -boom- effect (read my guide on making how to get more boom)
now run the string out of the hole, (use 5 meter+, so you can hide behind a cner or a bush) ring the door bell, get behind bush/coner, pull, -pop- run.

video coming some time!!!!

this was a project that i under took (with some help form my friends) to burn random stuff we had laying around the house. this project was also nicknamed flame thrower, since we loaded a 2 liter squirt gun with gas, lighter fluid, and wd-40.

it took about 20 minuates to make, and was moderately fun, alatho it was dangerous, since we tipped the burn plate into the leaves.

almost done!!!!!
putting the finishing touches on it.....it works fairly well, takes a hella lot of power, and the screen was very hard to hack up, ill start positing pictures once its totally done.

so many of you may know me, as a kid who spells stuff wrong and is rather clumsy. but i am acttually quite skilled when it comes to hardware. if you are interested in converting or "hacking" (breaking open and modifying) hardware ill will be glad to help.

ok, so i started construction on the bottom coolant plate, i am adding one in because i dont think that there is enough ventlation on the bottom, all the plate will do is provide an extra 8 degres celicus, it will be inserted, next to the two ball-bared 7200 rpm fans,
this is what the normal bottom should look like,

this is what i am doing,

i have made the bottom, I cut from 0.080-inch thick aluminum, which should be enough to hold the hefty load of the dvd drive, and the chip set, i am praying that the side walls (made of will be able to hold up the 3 pound dell flat pannel monotor, by the way, the side walls are made of a material called Sintra (also goes by Komatex). This is a PVC plastic that you could think of as very high density Styrofoam. well thats all i got so far, ill post the full frame degisn later today or early tommorrow =)

ok so i got a blade, cut out the first open vent,

o and the lquid collant pump costed, 89e, (frigging expensive), so i have to be really careful when i splice its power (to connect it ot the power brick).
(first air coolant, still uses water, but it only vents)

this is the one that will actually circulate the water between the plates.
first problem encountered: [issue with 17 inch screen],l estimeated delay 3-4 days

ok so i was moving along (a little slow) i got the plates togeather, most of the caps are done or in progress, but i noticed that my 17inch monotor is going to be differetn because it uses more power, and has a weird cable input, (dont know why) but since i dont have money for a new monotor, i have to built a specila cable, project will be delayed for 4-5 days becasue i have to melt ribbion cable togeather. and to resolve the power issue, i will be increseing the input by lowering the network card inoput, causing (adding) aprox 200ms of lag, (not to much, current ping is only 390ish so ading 200 bring us to 590, which isnt all that bad)

[first modification idea] using/installing Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on it to get more fetures, ill have to read up on media center to see what it offers, it woul dbe neat to be able to watch tv and play halo on the go.
