step 8: means where your CALL OF DUTY 4 is installed. for example mine is installed in (Hard drive C C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4
and key code currently in use means your ORIGINAL CD KEY that came with the game.

actually, i found step 8, but with step 9, i draged in the MP data into my profiles FOLDER, but befor that i deleated everything else in the profiles folder and my username one, so i opened up COD4, but i was lvl 1, wtf?

i didnt back up my profile that was lvl 35....its name was Brandon, anybody seen me befor? lol...

maybe this is doing something, the way i do it is by opening notepad, and doing all the stuff in open section...? is there a specific place to do it?

Sadly only temporary. Have to redo the steps every time you want to be 55, else next time you start, you're stats get reset (backup often).
