I navigate to "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare" and there is no profiles folder?

It said file invalid and deleted my stats... But the file downloaded and had a bunch of Chinese caligraphy in notepad... does it not work if I have multilingual fonts set up?

Start is on the left bottom of you screen. The HUGE start button -.-
Click on "run.." then and insert regedit.

Okay,

Who needs help?
I put the x64 Steam one on because I'm using steam for my COD4. It should be a similar process for COD4 which is installed "Standalone".

And for "START" > Click the BIG Start Button and find run > and type in "regedit" without the quotes.
If that doesn't work press the "WINDOWS KEY" on the keyboard and letter "R" in combination. And then type in regedit. If that doesn't work then I don't know how I can help you...google how to "Start"..
