CoD4: Error reading stats data, your stats have been reset

I was playin CoD4 and got a bluescreen now it says that my stats were reset due to an error

How to get back without re earning everything?

I don't know. I think I had Call of Duty 4 minimized, I don't remember. My computer gets BSOD all the time because I have a crappy wireless card installed. Or at least I think that's the problem. But when I shut it off, waited a while, and turned it back on I started it up and it said the normal start cod4 in safe mode thing, and when I started it up it said there was an error in your stats and they were reset.

Basically, the stats file is client side and you can edit it, I just don't know how/what to edit.

wow, you should not be giving advice.

you don't need to reformat your drive just because of the "blue screen of death" :cheesy:

it just means there's a problem with your system, and it is totally recoverable.

if it's game related, it's usually due to either outdated graphics card drivers, or simply the wrong graphics card drivers.

google your error, and find a fix.

I've never heard of that happening before.

Your stats are on infinity wards servers not on your pc. So really anything that happens to your pc should not effect your stats on cod4.

Try giving activision a call.

it has happened to me a few times now .i dont know why but i just use the lvl55 hack now .
i got everything unlocked myself twice but it just takes too long
