Rep Power: 0 | | Need help with my CS1.6 Hello , I'm running Counter-Strike 1.6 on Windows Vista Ultimate and I play on Non-Steam servers.
Well I have this problem since I have Vista ... the settings won't save.
I mean everytime I go in-game I must change the name from "Player" and the servers (on favorites) won't save either
Any suggestions? | | D3scene |

bind *key* (without the *'s) "connect serverip]" (with the brackets)
So it should look something like
bind j "connect 69.69.69.69:27015"
Then everytime you press the key you will join the server the key is binded to. Only downside is that if you press the key by accident you will still join the server.
I recommend binding the keys to the numbers keypad, or pgup/pgdown, seeing those are keys which are hardly used.
And it shouldn't have anything to do with Vista. I use vista 32bit sp1, have source/cz/1.6 installed, NO problems whatsoever.

Just try bind n "connect 89.47.44.195:27015"

Rep Power: 1 | | | no... the connect command should work on main menu, too.(if you use it via console)
write the bind command into your .cfg.
bind "f9" "connect <ip>"
bind "f10" "connect <ip>"
at least try it. |

It does work if you keep it in your config though, but only if your in a server. |

Go try it and see if it works in your .cfg GodOfWar. Your binds should save even if its not in your .cfg, but I would put it there just for backup in case it malfunctions just like your favourites. | | D3scene |
