Rep Power: 6 | | | Make your own cs:s server For windows users only
First of all you'll need HldsUpdateTool.exe that you can get here: Hlds_updatetool ( no virus )
Do the instalation and instal it in c:\\HL2Server
Go in your HL2Server folder and delete ClientRegistry.blob
Go in your Command Prompt and write: 2 cd c:\\HL2Server " press enter then write " HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -dir c:\\HL2Server "
When complet don't leaver your command Prompt and write: " HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir c:\\HL2Server "
Now you need to copy srcds.exe to your desktop
On your shortcut you'll need to right click it and go in the section properties and in Cible you will have to write: " C:\\HL2Server\\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust2 -port 27015 "
You have to write Exit then enter to close the server.
Now lets fix some bug that should come the first time.
For this go in your folder cfg that can be found in c:\\HL2Server\\cstrike
creat a new text document called: server.cfg
don't forget to change it to .cfg or it wouldn't work
You only need to forward these ports:
• 27000 à 27015 en UDP
• 1200 en UDP
• 27020 à 27039 en TCP

Either my Router sux or just I =/ | When you're in your router control panel, when you go in the Port forward section you can choose TCP or UDP or both .. select the good one for each port .. |

Rep Power: 4 | | | U may want to tell people that you need a kickass internet connection to not lag... and you can use the dedicated server tool from steam by just downloading it from the tools menu. If you really want a succesful server you need to buy one. |

| 1: No, every CSS server is ran by someone, how could it be illegal?
2: You decide that, you're running the server. |
