Aim Guide for newbies in CounterStrike!



This should help out newbie's who are finding it difficult to make the perfect aim in counter strike.It is not always easy to be "spot on" on the first shot if you are just new to CS.

"Practice makes perfect"

Where to hit?

Maximum damage is achieved only when you hit the head, next to that will be the torso.

Perfect aim?

If you intend to go on with a perfect aim, you should probably aim from mid to upper chest It's not easy always.

But how?

Basics - Choose and set the controls at your will, make sure you are comfortable with the controls.

Once you spot your enemy, set your crosshairs to aim your enemy.
Like I had already said,choose the spot you want to shoot : I would recommend head and mid chest..

Start shooting at short bursts and make sure you follow your enemy on the movements. This will essentially help making the crosshair small.

Why shouldn't you shoot for a long time?

That will make your crossfire bigger which doesn't help you with the accuracy.

Now, again make short bursts and that will reduce the crosshair and make your shot more accurate and perfect.

Caution: Do not wait too long in between your short bursts

Hope these points helps you out.

Never get bugged up with practicing for the perfect shots. More you play , more chances for you to set good aims and execute it.

umm . . . isn't it easier just to aim for the torso or upper body? that way you do okay damage and have a higher chance of hitting them. If u want to get a headshot just get steady aim
