    Suggestion regarding marketplace accounts

I think a good idea would to be disallow selling accounts to cheat sites as it just results in the buyer getting banned due to the admins of the cheat checking HWID/IP. could cut down scams too

As far as I'm aware we don't allow it if it's publically known to get you banned, or at least I don't when I see it. Perhaps we could crack down harder on it, but I don't see this problem as often as I used to.

i think trade software and Counter Strike Global Offensive thread should be approved before it is posted (goes to private section for mods) that way no free csgo hacks will get through with viruses, and we wont see kids posting trade software without the vouch

As long as it reduces all the false sellers and reduction in those people spreading crap such as viruses, it's not a bad implementation.

Yeah, and we weigh the pros and cons of that carefully. There is no method in doing that where the forum won't turn into a CSGO hack posts everywhere cesspool.

Just because we make a certain forum require them to be approved doesn't mean that people won't make new accounts and post them in different sections to try to get a quick sale. We've seen pointless CSGO threads and hack sales posted all over the board. In General chat, in FPS section, everywhere. There are certain things we have to try to avoid when doing something like this. It's not just an easy "Fix". Think long haul, not short term. You have to view it from every angle. The thing is, you guys aren't viewing it from our angle.

Funny, because all new posts show up in the latest posts feed regardless of what section they are in. So it could say "FREE OR PAID UBER L337 CSGO HACK" as the title and it wouldn't matter the section. It would still get traffic.

Not if we have to approve it. It's like spammed topics/posts. If something gets recognized it automatically needs Gmod+ approval.

The hardest part is actually getting those topics/posts to show up. Maybe @Tracky has ideas.

Only thing I could think of is like ... legit just adding CSGO to the spam bank so we can filter all the csgo posts/topics. If it doesn't have cs in the title it means less traffic than it would get normally which does help to a certain extent.

Idk it's a hard call imo , but that's just some random thought I had.

Now to find a post of late, you have read to start this race!
