    The "SuperThread" Idea.

NOTE: YOU MUST BE WILLING TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS THREAD FOR IT TO EVER WORK, YOU CAN'T JUST LIKE IT AND EXPECT THEM TO MAGICALLY BE THERE, YOU -NEED- TO CONTRIBUTE!!

Hello, My name is Kevin, and I am here to show you the notion of "SuperThreads".

This is an idea which has been approved by Hallowsend.

This is something that would increase contributions at D3 and also organize it much more.

    The Idea

The idea is, is that people would send in contributions they have made in the past or in the present manually by PM or by a submission form, which will be added to a thread that defines a whole section or subsection, depending on popularity, with links to guides that are labelled, categorized and have a small description (up to 100 words) provided by the author. There would be a table of contents, or you can just use the CTRL + F Function (Apple + F for Macs) to find what section your are looking for. You can also submit guides by other people if they are inactive, banned etcetera, but there is no possibility of joining the monthly contest (as explained below).

Now you may ask, "Won't this increase the already large amount of leechers significantly?". Why, it won't. Because we simply have to set a 50-100 post count and 15 reputation marks restriction to be able to see this section or stickied thread. This will actually encourage them to either post or get reputation marks.

We could also have a monthly or bimonthly competition, where the top 10 guides are selected by moderators and are put into a 1-2 week poll where the best guide is voted upon and the winner gets 5$ or reputation points.

All contributions would need to go through a trusted member/ moderator, because spam could clog the guides up.

They will then be added by a moderator to the guides.

Any additions to this idea will be posted if they are helpful.

    F.A.Q's

None so far, F.A.Q's will be answered on posted on here if there are any, which would be posted by members.

That sounds good, might motivate me to write more guides
but.... pfhh I could write a guide on how to get ga-zillions of scammed WoW accounts with a included guide on how to keep them

    question:
does it have to be a guide or can it be... any contribution?

Any useful contribution about gaming. Maybe a section for unrelated, but it wouldn't be put in the contest.
