Hacking a mac book pro

Hey guys, I want to change the system information on a mac book pro.
Like if you go into the settings and it says it has a 2.16 ghz processor, I want to be able to change what it says. Not actually change how fast the processor itself is, but just change what its listed as.
Can anyone help me with this?

correct me if i am wrong, but i think this does not work cuz the window where the information about your system can be found or whatever reads the information directly from the hardware things
