Rep Power: 3 | | | characters don't expire anymore! even if it say's "character expired" you can just double click it and login, then it's unexpired again!
I think the decrease of players or the progression of technology makes it easier for blizzard to keep the characters for a longer time! like jay wilson said in an interview, saving characters is no problem you have to worry about anymore!
but be sure, that if your characters are older then 1-2 years, you won't be able to unexpire them again, because they probably are already gone from the hardspace ^^ |

Double clicking them to log bacxk in and unexpire doesnt ALWAYS work.
It does work sometimes, but i still have about 10 mules expired.
Try to log your characters in as much as possible to lessen the risk of losing your characters. |

Maybe your 10 mules expired before blizz decided not to delete characters anymore! Or maybe it only works on europe-server, because us-servers are more crowded!
All I know is that since I found that out I never had problems unexpireing my characters! |

Rep Power: 5 | | | AFAIK that is possible since 1.12 or 1.12a...
Though, they should actually be nonladder after expiration even if you played them on ladder.
Worked for me too, but could be that they're nonladder because of the ladder reset on 17th december..
Whatever, my keys are banned xD |
