[DotA] Mercurial - The Spectre

Hello,
I'm writing this all by myself.
May I introduce the Mercurial, probably one of the easiest heroes to be good with, still one of the toughest to master.
I'll just write down how I play, nothing more, looking up how to use the skills can be done on dotastrategy.com...

Skill build:
Level. Skill

2. Dispersion for creeping in early/Desolate for getting kills in early(which is hard tho...)

Item build:
Early: Wraith Band, Wraith Band
Early-mid: Power Treads
Mid: Wraith Band, Wraith Band, Diffusal Blade
Mid-late: Manta Style(when Diffu's Purge is used up), BFly
Late: Hyperstone, Vladimir's or Assault Cuiriass

All in all: 4x Wraith Band, Agility PTs, Diffusal Blade/Manta Style, when you have enough money to get Butterfly, sell one of the Wraiths, when you get the Hyperstone, sell another one.

Playing:

Early: Start off with 2x Slippers of Agility and 1x Circlet of Nobility, since you got 118 gold left, buy a Healing Salve. Try to get the preferred lanes (Sentinel = bottom, Scourge = top) and try to get it solo, that will boost your exp somewhat good. (I usually host so I kick people if they don't let me solo =P) Umm, creep, creep, and creep, try to kill and deny as much as possible, you need the money. When you're lvl 6, try to help your team ganking, but don't forget creeping. Only Haunt on enemies if you are sure you can get them and you will not die. Staying alive in early is essential for this build.
Mid: Having your PTs and Haunt, it's pretty much about ganking now, but if you are not ganking, creep the hell out of the lanes, keep the money flowing.
Late: When you got Bfly you're actually king of the battles, you can pretty much fuck anyone with your Purge, Dagger and Desolate. Once you get Hyperstone you're a combowhore, you can actually take on the whole enemy team alone now, try to get people when they are creeping and the others are fighting with your mates, so you don't risk getting ganked by all of their ultis.

You can try different playing styles, just play how you think it's most comfortable and efficient.
Always remember two things for Spectre:

If the money flows, the kills will do alike.
Spectral Dagger, you walk through obstacles, hunt the enemies down with it.

why don't put a buriz or a mkb or both???
that's optional i also puta battle fury on her...

Yeah you can get Buriza instead of Butterfly if you want, you will crit more then. But I use Spectre only if I play AP and with my own team, so I know what skills the others have and we can play in a team perfect.
So, for ganking, Butterfly is better cause of the additional Attackspeed, else, Buriza for higher damage.

i think he want say that you should get buriza/mkb after butterfly to do more dps.
i would back that up btw . . . the hyperstone is only useful when you can use desolate.
AC also increases your dps, but it fits other heros better imho.

but nonetheless, you can fight hours with different builds, and as long it doesnt suck (yours doesnt) its alright, personal opinions owns most

Good comment, X-räi, I agree. Though, you can pretty much use anything that adds damage, attack speed or crit or whatever after or instead of Bfly I'd say.

You can try different playing styles, just play how you think it's most comfortable and efficient.
