Please change the font type, current font is very hard to see.

IMO, Axe's core item is Phase Boot. (Vanguard, dagger, heart, all other are just optional)
Most enemies will stay constant distance between Axe.. or behind creeps to avoid his berserker call.. Phase Boot's activation ability is just simply perfect to solve this, no collision bypass creeps straight to the target and boom.

phase boots lost a lot since its armor is removed. before it was perfect.
now i would rather go dagger and boots of travel. vanguard + hood (if nukers) --> then heart = finished.

You're right it got nerf(5 armor removed) but still the phase ability benefits Axe all stages no matter early, mid, or late game.

Satanic a common rejected item for Axe.. and you should understand what is core/optional.. even what items bad to him...
About skill build.. why'd you only learn level 1 battlehunger and mind explain your strategies?
level 1 b.hunger initial 150dmg
level 2 b.hunger increase 75dmg
level 3 b.hunger increase 125dmg
level 4 b.hunger increase 225dmg (total 625dmg)

so you think getting 1 level of it means you're all round, cool, and smart? b.hunger also not a must but rather situation depend, get it only when face melee attacker that dare not to touch you, so he can't deny anything to cancel b.hunger...

Your guide not even reach basic but rather random..

Basically,the main reason for a Lv.1 B.hunger is the B.hunger can be dispelled easily by just killing a mere creep so its not a big task for a the ranged heroes.This guide is written for a 1 on 1.And so i guessed that there is no point of having B.hunger since it can be dispelled.Rather than that,Obtaining the Berseker's call can assure a Kill due to the Berseeker's call and Counter Helix Combo.But for Heroes like Cenetaur or Sand King,its easy to Dispel B.H.And most of this guide was taken from my last Gameplay

The main intention of Satanic is the Lifesteal.Since Axe is a Tanker and goes Head on Head,Hp is a big factor but i think its better to move it off Axe's inventory thanks for the tip.

I think Axe is Better off with another HoT or why not an S&Y?

So either get it full for melee, or don't learn at all, can't you get it?
I doubt you don't even know damage calculation and mana manipulation.

are you writing this guide for a 1on1? then it wont be very helpful
battle hunger is useless for me...
also if you go for boots of travel, which is _not_ wrong BUT you should get dagger right after finishing vanguard. sometimes even earlier because dagger is the core of the core items.
(not that an only dagger wearing axe could do anything but i hope you get my point.)
