I've tried to deprotect this map using the tutorial with no success, can u try it?, can u post the differences between deprotecting this map using the tutorial and the actual procedure of deprotecting it

Ok i listened to the map unprotection and everything guide. I got the list files with MPQ master and i did xdep and got yourmap.w3x and deprotected map.w3x. When i do that your guide tells me that i have to extract all the files with mpq master and put them in the xdep/yourmax.w3x/temp/files which isn't there. I looked at xdep and it looks to me that it deletes that folder. What do I do. Also when i try to opem the deprotected map or yourmap it gives me loading level info, then i get critical error and it says not enough storage space to process. can i get some help plz here. By the way this is my map thats is protected by vexorian map compressor.

idk thats what happened to me too. i tryed it on my sis's comp and it worked if u have another comp thats not the same try it on it and see if it works.

Well, I finally got around to playing the map I was trying to deprotect (in tft as I still couldn't get it to save as a normal war3 map), and when it came to the time when my team lost, the end game trigger didn't function correctly, and the game just continued, stating there were negative lives left. It seems xdep broke it somehow, as I did not change anything in the map, just unprotected it, opened it, and then saved it, then played it. Does anyone know of another methold to deprotect maps, and in particular one that might be able to save it as a w3m instead of w3x?

I uploaded MPQ Recover and MPQ Master because i don't Find them in the download category...
You can find them under warcraft III tool.
If You cant find them, Use search and type their names exactly. ^^

This guide is really helpfull i've done about 4 maps sucessfully, and what do you do when it says "map cannot be found" (most games) or in other maps it doesnt appear in the game list (TheBlackRoad) or in some others when you try open a map in MPQmaster it crashes? (some random map i forgot). thanks
