I've always thought of metal/heavy thrash etc have always been so emo/gothic. I mean seriously, yelling on top of your lungs to a point no one can understand you, and you sound like retard. Great example - Slipknot.

They aren't screaming. It's called thrash metal. If you wan't a screaming band, look up Slipknot or We Butter the Bread With Butter.

    Thou be metal
Don't blame yourself if you don't like metal. Not everyone has to. Its a culture, a movement, a way of life and death.
If you want to stick to pop and trance for the rest of your life, then go ahead! ^^

Back to subject, I am full metal. Even though I like glam and hard rock a lot (also known now as hair metal, wtf).

Lately I've been a lot into:
    - DevilDriver (sort of thrash metal)
    - Metallica (thrash metal)
    - Arch Enemy (death speed metal)

    Know them already?
Well here's more metal bands (only METAL, no hard rock)
    - Behemoth
    - Black Sabbath
    - Bullet for my valentine
    - Cancer Bats
    - Cannibal Corpse
    - Megadeth
    - Kreator
    - Mastery
    - Deicide
    - Dragonforce
    - Every time I die
    - Iced Earth
    - In Flames
    - Machine Head
    - Pantera
    - Slayer
    - Sylosis
    - Sepultura
    - Trivium

Thats all that can come to my mind right now.
