    Years have come and gone, but Avast! has never let me down. I remember it once saved my ass because it had that feature that let it scan for viruses before loading Windows if I recall correctly.

    I have used lots of different antiviruses on different computers, both my own and on friends/family computers I "managed".

    Used Avira on this one for a year (free one year subscription as a bonus from supplier) and it was useless most of the time, never even suspected most hacks of being "shady".

    AVG used to be okay-ish, same as Kaspersky, Norton and what was that other N-thing? Nod32, is that a thing? That was useless too.

    On the other hand, as a hacker (read "game hack user") it`s easier to have a somewhat useless antivirus, since it doesnt give so much trouble using hacks. Less exceptions to add, you know

    EDIT: Just remembered that Dr.Web CureIt! has saved my lazy ass a couple of times when I let something into my beloved computer.

    IMO, Nod32, using it for 6 years, never had problem and always heard good things about Nod from other people who are using it, and it is one of av that always gets recommended when people asking for help to find some virus on their pc, plus it doesn't affect gaming in anyway, only time when you notice that he is working is when you get update notification, other tha that you will not even notice that he is working.

    Also Nod32 is good in combination with malwarebytes pro, they work pretty good and do not conflict.

    I use Kaspersky as well. Some good anti malware is malwarebytes and IOBit malware fighter. It's also good to install things like Revo Uninstaller so you can fully delete any traces of whatever it is you are trying to uninstall. Honestly, this may be a more important factor once you find something that is destroying your PC and often times things left in the reg folders come back to rekt you ;~;

    I've been using Kaspersky for a few years now. Seems to work fine. Updates to databases every day and haven't had any issues with viruses so far (that I know of).
