I need some book reccomendations, I'm going on a long trip. Any reccomendations? Nothing too dry intellectual is okay just not like a bibliography on Einstein.

    hum.....

-if you like Sci-Fi, try the Ender series from Orson Scott Card (Enders game is the first book) or the Halo book series (Fall of Reich, The Flood, First Strike, Ghosts of Onyx, Contact- Harvest)
-Fantasy- Pretty much anything by R.A. Salvatore (look for the Drizzit books)
-Historical Fiction- If you enjoy WWII era stuff, try some of Jack Higgins' books, (Note: he tends to re-use character's and situations) I'd suggest "The Eagle has Landed" as a first book, fantastic read (and good movie to boot )
-Medical/Suspense- Pretty much anything from Robin Cook or Michael Crichton (writer of the Andromeda Strain and Jurassic Park)

    Those would be my suggestions

    fr version: L'associé
    en version: no english version.

It's a good police book. I doesn't read lots but this one intriged me seriously.

    The back page:

Patrick Lanigan, a brilliant lawyer, has desapeared with $ 90 million to its partners. A masterstroke that its enemies are not about to forgive him. After four years of caval, he is caught and tortured by his pursuers before falling into the hands of the justice. Everyone wants Patrick Lanigan, at any price. But in its Machiavellian plan, the lawyer has provided everything ... or almost.

Some of my favorite books are:

    Play Dead
    Who killed Mr.Chippendale?
So Far from the Bamboo Grove
    To Kill a Mockingbird

I will think of more later, but TKaM and SFtBG are classics Imho. Who killed Mr.Chippendale? Is a book written in free verse poetry about kids at a high school and how one of them killed a teacher named Mr.Chippendale who was supposedly one of the best teachers there. Throughout the book, you will see how the teacher changed peoples lives in good ways / bad ways, and also who killed him. Its a very good book.

The book Play Dead was a book given to me by my grandfather, (A golden retriever lover) And it is about a dog who had a very hurtful owner and witnessed a murder, and was supposedly killed along with the 2 people killed on the boat. People try to kill him and the lawyer whom now owns him so that they cannot be taken to court again, since there wasn't enough evidence to convict them the first time.

Another good book if you are young and are pressured into things like drugs and gangs, is the book Drive By. Its very good.

EDIT: Also, if you like Sci-Fi books read as many books by RA Salvatore as possible, they are all good.
