    Help!!!

    Wow so my computer had to be reformatted (why isn't important) and now i can't connect to the internet. My computer's a Dell dimension 8250 and i think i'm missing some drivers I have no other discs or anything please help asap!!

    See what kind of motherboard you have then look at the driver page for it and get your network card drivers, burn to disc (i assume you have another computer with internet) and install on other pc.

    Um how do i find out what kind of motherboard i have and links plz? I'm stressed and tired.

    Go into the setup at start, it should tell you the key to hit to open it and look for a model number or if it just says the motherboard in it, if not just google the model number and it should tell you the motherboard then go to the homepage and to the drivers section for your motherboard.

    It's a dell dimension 8250 computer i'm too tired to figure anything out myself at this point.

    I use a ethernet or lan cable to connect to the internet idk wtf u calll it.

    I signed up just to tr and help!

    if you direct connect to a modem then you probably have to reinstall modem drivers and software if you go through a router make sure your on the right workgroup to the network also make sure your ip address is assigned correctly. if you need help doing any of these post back here and ill help
