Mercury: Poison. I once broke a thermometer when I was 8 and touched the mercury and I had to go to the hospital for some reason, I had a reaction to it.

Thermometers normally don't contain mecury now days, but there is still other ways to get it, eg mecury titlt switch. The only place I think that uses Mecury thermometers is in meteorology. Mecurury is silver and heavy, it is also a neurotoxin.

It was a long time ago, and our normal thermometer had broke, It slipped from my hand and crash.
