I kind of knew this already, and that's why I've been using rapidshare for 1½ years now. Rapidshare is extremely "nice", and I like downloading from there a lot. I can't live without RS, and if you think about it, 55€/Year isn't that much. It's about 0.15€/day, and if you consider how much you can download (5GB/day MINIMUM) from RS every day, and the fact that it's much safer. You get at least 5GB a day, and if you don't use it up, you can "stock" it up to a maximum of 25GB which you could eventually use in 1 day, and have 5GB for the next day. (It stocks automatically, you don't have to do anything)

I think I got a little bit off topic xD... But what I meant was, it doesn't cost that much, and it's definitely worth it.

I dont really see why i should pay for downloading...
You get at least 5GB per day.... if you pay... shouldnt you get unlimited traffic down?
Rapidshare is for me some slow shitty company that is only after your money. Gogo private torrent trackers!

And seriously, how can they prove it was you? All they can prove is that someone have downloaded through your router. If you have a WEP encrypted network, or a open network anyone could have done it.
My car is not leaking oil?
    Its marking its territory!

i agree about the rapidshare membership part, also i think they focus more on uploaders and not as much on downloaders (fines are much more for uploading vs downloading)
