It costs 1 dollar to encrypt a virus or server (for RATs etc). And it 100% FUD. There are so many FUD viruses it's amazing. And good RATs make it so you don't have admin privileges anymore so you can't end the process, and also some RAT's have word / key detecting where if you type like msconfig or Norton or so on, it automatically turns off the computer. The safest way to avoid viruses is be smart. Or when downloading a file just sandboxie it first (doesn't always work ofc but it's still nice ;P).

If I helped you... thanks and are greatly appreciated!

    1. Dont use the interwebz = NO rat have a chance.
    2. If you have to use the interwebz, dont dl shit, dont run shit, dont click on pics and NEVER CLICK on links of any kind.
    3. Or dont use windows and the chance will become MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH lower.

    GG RATS!

If you don't want to worry about having a rat, ever:

Yeah you can make the .exe-file undetectable for an AV but this is the reason I would run those files in a sandbox or upload it to Anubis too see suspicious behavior. Or your AV has good heuristics.

For sure, the better way is just don't open untrusted files ;-)

Yeah, like I said. Also sandbox doesn't always work.
