America the self-proclaimed "land of the free, home of the brave", is that really so?
It feels to me like the only freedom in America now is all of the freedoms the big corporations are getting. Freedom from the law (apparently they are now above the law), Freedom to steal as many of the Americans tax dollars as they please and also the freedom to fuck the Americans economics and not get punished for it.
Now let us like at the freedom the slaves, I mean uhm people of America currently have.
- Not allowed to peacefully protest without the police either beating you or forcing you to move to another area.
- You're not allowed to even dance in certain parts of America or you'll be arrested and brute force used against you.
- Slowly but surely more and more of your first amendment rights are being taken away things such as the Pro-IP act and Stop online piracy act (SOPA)
- Let us not forget whenever you go to an airport you have to be tapped down and groped. This is a massive violation of your human rights.
If this bill passes this is when your main downward spiral will begin, you think your government and the corporations would use their new found power in cases that are only legitimate? Of course not and you think they will stop there? No way, they will continue to introduce more and more absurd laws which infringe on your rights. It's hilarious, they would rather you, the American citizens rights be infringed upon then copyrighted material being infringed.
