It is extremely easy, but you're getting off topic again.

What? How is that getting off topic when you were the one who mentioned it. And I don't think its extremely easy when Zacro has tried disputing it.

Soo, first off: I didnt read this thread beside the OP, never used ANY middleman, got zero marketplace activity.

You are offering a service which a) costs you time [note: time ((can)) mean money] ... b) obviously puts you at a risk [note: money risk]

Now looking at the service: Charging for being a middleman defeats the purpose a bit,
marketing involves making profit, but cutting into the profit the service becomes un-attractive,
that means ppl will leave out a middlemen -->increased scamming-risk
(not considering the possibility that other middleman will service for free)

Thats the factors which immediately came to my mind.

    How about finding a balance,
    expand your "contact info" field.

When you got boredom and freetime at your hands, put your skype on online.
which means you will go free of charge, reserving the right to deny deals anyway though.

Put it on yellow: Only available for pay2trade services.

This way you will maybe be able to net some cash, but at the same time keep your profile.

And cuts down accusations of being money hungry (which would be pointless/unjustified, but ppl will never ever change and thus this is to be expected)

Lastly how about setting up a donation page? (or additional to the part-payment idea)
There are some kind of donation system which display a certain money-goal, you could set it to your current debt at first.

p.s.: I am completely physically exhausted, which kinda cripples my mind too, so please excuse eventual language-flaws or un-understandable parts. ask specifically or at least cut the /rage when pointing out mistakes.

Zacro, I think you should charge 10% or something, because then its like they are paying tax for the item ... my thought on the matter.

Hey, I wasn't bitching. I was trying to explain myself. Frankly it was a misunderstanding anyway.

Actually, a preference that you should adapt is:

    1) Small services are free
    2) Huge services for a cost.

I think that so far, x rai has the best idea. He was very well detailed with his post in what he thought would be a good idea.
