    "Quitting a forum"

    Hello there,

Just interests me when people make "good bye" threads on forums. I mean I use forums and as long as you're not a moderator a quick 5 - 10 minute check and you're done for the most part. If you are a moderator then no need to leave the forum just your staff position. I know that people may get a lot of PM's and such and maybe it's that they're unable to be as active and reply to everyone but it still doesn't mean you need to not open this specific website when you're browsing the web. Unless you're going to be so busy you cannot even squeeze 10 minutes of your day to come here.

Just makes me always wonder why people say their good byes on a forum ^.^

Good bye threads really annoy me. A lot of the people who post these come back within a few days.

And if you really are going, bye. But no need to announce it on a new thread when most people browsing the forum never talk/interact with you.

    ^this.

Most people do so to either receive attention, tell 'everyone' within a forum what's going on or due to other personal reasons.
I know a lot people that feel D3Scene is like a 'family' to them. I don't really mind this, I myself enjoy administrating D3Scene quite a lot and wouldn't want to miss it.

In the end it's the very own decision of each user

I think the members that do it are alawys active ones who dont want to just stop talking with online friends. Members who are not well known, they just do their things within OUR thing.
