Understanding, Editing, and Fixing Keys.xml

this post will teach you a little about keys.xml and what each component of the xml does, what you can change, and how to clean it up. if you are having problems 90% its because their keys.xml does not match what they have in their action bars. what i suggest doing is editing it (with notepad) to what you use on bars 1 and 2, instead of using the default keys on bars 5 and 6. it will help you not look like a bot if they check your keys and is a lot cleaner.

I would just make a backup of keys.xml before you start editing. Seems easier that way.

heres what it will look like in your keys.xml when you edit it

Druid.HealingTouch" BarState="Rest" ShiftState="Alt" Char="6" />

the green is the command name, its follows the class.action naming convention You wont ever change this unless you are making a command from scratch

the red is the what bar your action is on, to make this easyer to understand its better if you change this to BarX X being the number the the bar the spell is on.

the orange is that key is pressed while the key is pressed, this is usually used to make a spell self casted as apposed to casting it on the target. commands that can be used are alt shift ctrl none

The blue is the key that is pressed to do execute the command, so if for example Mind Flay is on Bar1 and in the 3rd slot then the key needs to be 3.

i hope this helps, don't forget to edit the common. keys as well because if you dont it will still be going to bars 5 or 6 for its food and water. if you need help please feel free to instant message me.

Hallo mate,
I'm a neo glider elite user.
I used glider for 5 mounths using the defoult key setup for may warlock and everything runs well.
Now i would like use glider elite for battlegrounds.
I setup the glider and spartacus configurations correctly cause they look work together. I read the guide on the forum.
Group profiles seem work too, but now i have a lot of problems during set up the "key" class file.
I downloaded the custom key file from this forum ("treelock" key set).
There are a lots of parameters and i would like use bars seven and eight. Does it use 3 bars? Please can u easy explain how can i set it up for battlegrounds?
