no Hacks?
This is a discussion on no Hacks? within the Guild Wars forum part of the RPGs, MMORGPs, Online Strategy Games category; are there no hacks? i've seen many out there but you need to pay for most of them......

| no Hacks? are there no hacks? i've seen many out there but you need to pay for most of them...  |

| no Hacks? There are hacks for GW. They are incredibly hard to get though. All of them are private, and businesses use them to profit from selling gold on ebay. Other than that, there are bots, which WILL get you banned. Hopefully one day in the distant future D3Scene will be known among those who infamously bypassed GW's protection  . |

| no Hacks? The problem is that HACKS in GW are TOO detectable. It's amazingly easy to get banned. And the reporting system is really really effective, where if 1-2 people report you, you instantly get "marked" for a suspension/perm ban. The only effective type of "hacking" would be a bot with AI. That would be amazing. |

| It's nearly impossible to hack Guild Wars without being detected. All your stats/equipment/other are server-side. If you hack your client, well, you are merely tricking yourself until you load a new area and instant ban. Every time you load a new area theres it runs a server check on your char (mainly to determine your channel), but can also detect hacks. Bots are quickly reported by players, and bypassing the NCSoft game protection engine would be high risk and tedious. (and require a lot of skill; at least ASM trained) |
