Computer Help [Again]

Specs
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2350 @1.86GHz 1.87Hz
Ram : 2gb
System type : 32bit
OS : Okay now this is the first problem ;_;
edit : oh yea it's a laptop, HP Pavilion dv6000, GeForce Go 7400.

I am previously using Windows Vista and I just wanted to try out the new Windows 7 RC. The mistake I did was I forgot to create a partition when I installed it. So now it is too late, or is it? I installed Windows 7 on C:\, i'm now currently running on Windows 7 too, but I can't see to find my Windows Vista anymore since I think I installed the 7 over it. Any ideas ?

Yes, I know for Vista you can use the "Recovery Manager" but I can't seem to find a way to recovery back to Vista. Did i miss something?

-Why not use a recovery disc?
Ans : Yes, in fact I do have the recovery disc (well I think it is), but there's another problem, my CD/DVD ROM drive, well isn't at it's full condition (and I have no idea why it is not working). It works once in a while, and sometimes it doesn't. ;_; Any idea solving this would be great.

I tried booting my computer with CD/DVD rom with my recovery disc inside but it shows nothing. Now I'm wondering If I have the right disc.

I don't have to worry about losing any data cause I don't have anything on my comp which is valuable, for now I still have all my old data/info in a file called "Windows.old" in C:\.

I was thinking of getting it to the shop to fix it but if anyone here could help out first it would be great.

If you have any other questions just ask

Thanks in advance.

2 seconds, I'll just have to find to install Vista in a USB flashdrive...
Done: http://www.techmixer.com/install-win...-memory-drive/

And just open BIOS and set it to boot the memory stick before the harddrive

qft, that is the easiest way to re-install vista, not all flash drives will support it however.
