Some useful TIPS

OK I wont say that I'm the best HoN player but I aint bad either Im very good 1vs1 bec then you don't have to worry about the strangers that an mess up the game. Basically when I play I use logic if my hero has low HP and high MP i buy him some items for health regeneration and later in game i buy that Blood stone the 1 that gives 400 HP/MP and regeneration and if you die a stone appears and you get XP in that area. See i dont even know names of the items and I still play good .

Well some builds that you can find on internet wont always work bec it depends what hero you are up against.

For example there were times when i would use builds for strength heroes on my intellect heroes and that was bec the opposite team was 4/5 str and my hero was Thunderbringer so I wanted him to last as long as he can in a fight bec of his nukes. There are a few more tips that are common knowledge and most players forget them.

For example i often see heroes going after another hero when they have really low HP which is bad bec no matter if the other hero has 1HP sometimes the kill just isn't worth it bec you will die 2 and lose gold.
And if you have a nice stash of gold and your away from the base it doesn't hurt to press B (default) on your keyboard and buy some necessary items. they will be safely stored in your stash and you can get them at your base by pressing B.

And last warning don't be greedy bec it can cost you the game. If you breach 1 side of the base keep pushing trough there there is no need to destroy/breach all 3 sides. And ofc there is nothing bad to retreat when your low on HP its much better then getting killed.

I know that these are the most basic stuff but while I play ppl often forget this stuff. And 1 other thing ppl often forget is that this game is based on DoTA but it isn't DoTA its HoN so all tactics you know from DoTA don't always and some of them even wont work in HoN.

So get to know the items and characters/heroes and you will see that it aint that hard to win.
