Homemade Chronos Guide!
Chronos

The greatest inventors of the Human Legion
dreamed of making an army of machine warriors
to spare humans the bloody cost of war. Only
one was ever created, for no one could ever
find a way to quicken him. When the Hellbourne
fed a stolen soul into its mechanical shell,
they brought the Chronos to life and gained the
benefit of this artificial monster’s mastery
over time itself.
Stats
Attack Type=Melee
Attack Damage=58-65
Attack Range=128
Movementspeed=300
Turnrate=320
Armor=3.94
MagicArmor=5.5
Strength=23
Agility=21
Intelligence=15
Spells
Timeleap

Chronos teleports himself through space
and time to a target location. Any nearby
enemies are slowed.
Level 1 : Range 700, 10% Movement slow for 3 seconds
Level 2 : Range 900, 20% Movement slow for 3 seconds
Level 3 : Range 1100,30% Movement slow for 3 seconds
Level 4 : Range 1300, 40% Movement slow for 3 seconds
Mana cost 120
Cooldown 13 seconds
Note:A great escape spell,a great ganking spell.
Use it wisely,as it slows enemies around you for 40% when you blink
next to them it makes a great spell to finish off enemies with low HP
that are runing away,but also,to save your teammate if he's getting
ganked.
Rewind

Chronos steps back through time when damaged,
giving him a chance to avoid the damage entirely.
Level 1 : 10% chance to avoid incoming damage
Level 2 : 15% chance to avoid incoming damage
Level 3 : 20% chance to avoid incoming damage
Level 4 : 25% chance to avoid incoming damage
Mana cost n/a
Cooldown 2 seconds
Note:Well,pretty self explainatory.When you get attacked,there's 25%
chance to avoid incoming damage.
Time Freeze

Gives Chronos a chance to deal additional damage
and briefly freeze a unit in time with each attack.
Level 1 : 10% chance to deal 40 magic damage and stun for 1 second
Level 2 : 15% chance to deal 50 magic damage and stun for 1 second
Level 3 : 20% chance to deal 60 magic damage and stun for 1 second
Level 4 : 25% chance to deal 70 magic damage and stun for 1 second
Mana cost n/a
Cooldown 1.5 seconds
Note:Awesome passive ability,25% chance to stun a target for 1 sec AND
deal some awesome damage,it's pretty epic spell.And,as you will be
getting items that increase your Attack Speed,this skill is deadly.
Ultimate
Chronofield

Chronos creates a field of energy that exists outside of time.
All units caught inside the field are frozen, incapable of any
actions. Chronos is immune to the rift’s effects and may move freely.
Level 1 : Range 500 lasts for 3 seconds
Level 2 : Range 550 lasts for 4 seconds
Level 3 : Range 600 lasts for 5 seconds
Mana Cost 150/175/200
Cooldown 120 seconds
Radius 400
Note:My personal favoure ultimate in the game,next to Lightning Storm :p
It's simply epic,and It can be an ultimate ganking spell,or ultimate
spell to run away.You see a whole team coming on you,you put this
shiz and run away,OR,you put this,find the weakest in the team,pwn
him and run away lol.
Yes,that was a joke,this spell will get u TONS of kills(and steals ofc)
But as you can be the lategame carry,nobody will mind.
Epic combo with this spell is Magmus with ulti.
Whole team frozen,magmus does his ulti and blinks inside,all dead.
So,this spell has many many uses,you'll discover that on your own.
SPELL BUILD
You want to level Time Freeze and Chronofield as soon as possible to max,you CAN get only first level of Time Leap and go into Rewind,but I personally keep Rewind and Stats for lategame.Your choice..
ITEM BUILD
This is how I go.I want to stay in the lane as long as possible and farm,because even If the lane enemies get better items than you,as they went shopping,they still wont be able to kill you,because u can leap/ulti/and are very causious
EARLY GAME
Runes Of The Blight, 2 sets = 180g
Health Potions,2 of them = 200g
x 4.= 212g.Fill the rest of your inventory with these. Low price and ALOT of stats for level 1.
DO NOT,I repeat,DO NOT get marchers on level 1.
That's just bad,even for EM Noob games.You won't be doing anything else but creepkilling and farming on low lvl,so they are useless.The only hero where is acceptable to get Marchers on level 1 is Switblade in EM games,because of his 1st skill.
MID GAME
You go back to base and get some more runes/hpots if u need,and buy Marchers,then get back to your lane and get these.After you did,roam around the map and start getting some kills,but don't be greedy.Most players when playing Chronos die because they are greedy,they blink into wrong places at the wrong time.
Enhanced Marchers,for the attack speed
which is your primary attribute.
Elder Parasite,17% lifesteal is awesome,and The Buff it adds to your attack speed when activated is simply amazing thing to do in your Chronofield.
Those are your Core Mid game items,if you farmed alot,and if you had alot of kills,get some Wingbow Pieces.
Of course,if you do need some more survivability or have some mid gold spare,you can get
Bracers for survivability and
Ring for some dmg and AS boost.
LATE GAME
This is where you start killing everybody else with ease,this is the time where you truely start to pwn everybody else.
Wingbow,every agility hero dreams of this.
It's the ultimate agility hero item,and you should get it ASAP in lategame,no doubts
After you have these,it's pretty much whatever you want,and trust me,you will be able to afford whatever you want.
I go for Geometer's Bane, sometimesand Riftshards and sometimes even restoration stone.
Resto stone,well,resets the cooldown of all your abilities.2 Chronofields in team fight = you get atleast 2 or 3 kills,and Geometer's Bane is also very very nice,Chronofield + 2 illusions of yourself all concentrated on the same target = 100% to kill atleast 2 heroes.
Riftshards,nothing much to explain,awesome crit chance and nice damage.
ITEMS TO AVOID
Savage Mace,contains bashing properties which don't stack with your Time Freeze Spell,so don't get it,its useless.
Brutalizer,don't get it,doesnt stack with your Time Freeze Spell,again.
INVENTORY LATEGAME

First 3 are NECESSARY,with these you'll pwn,after just get high Damage/Attack Speed/Agility Items.
So you late game tactic is pretty much this:
Run in there,use your Parasite to buff your attack speed,put on Chronofield and pwn everybody.Blink away if necessary.
This guy Is 100% homemade,made solely for D3Scene.

Dude all guides are home made -_-'
And good guide i will try it!!

There's no need for Resto stone or Geometer's bane. Try Deamonic Beastplate (Assault Cuirass) instead

Homemade,was kinda irony,not that u would understand..
Anyway,Geometer's bane is bugged atm,so Time Freeze stacks on all the illusions,so u can pretty much keep anybody stunned forever :p
And Deamonic Breastplate Is I guess a good thing to try,will add it.

I think i'm the only one not able to play Chronos. I played this guide before and I just suck
My mates are owning using this one -.-' I'm not made for such a gay hero.

nice guide in general with some pictures and all, you may consider soulscream ring though.
but could you pls provide a source that says: savage mage does not stack with stun? or explain the effect more detailed. I consider savage mage as a very very good item on chronos/facless void, the truestrike makes him kill other carries who get wingbow and the ministun+damage+attackspeed greatly increase his dps.
whenever I played chronos, I never noticed a non-stacking effect.

Savage mace stacks with bash lol
And has no bashing properties
But i wouldn't consider it a good item for this hero, cuz he is not in a need of damage, just Agility (Attack Speed).
