    [Guide] Pandamonium

In response to the request for a Panda guide:
Taking Heroes of Newerth Guide Request

Pandamonium is a 100% physical damage ganker/semi-carry. He's comparable to succubus, whereas succubus is fully magic damage that can lock you down, Panda is a full physical damage dealer that can also lock you down in a series of flicks, stuns, and flurries.

    Skill Build:
The skillbuild for Pandamonium is mostly concrete, with few exceptions to change it. The main factor for a different skill build is whether you are middle lane, or in a sidelane.

Middle-Panda:This Mid-lane Panda build focuses on being able to dump your spells on the other single mid-lane hero. Rather than to level Flurry or Flick first, Cannonball is taken for the instant aoe damage, as well as the stun duration increase. At level 7, it's very possible to kill the enemy hero when landing all your spells in succession.

In cases where the enemy has no escape mechanism (i.e. Leap, Blink, Dash), you can easily Flick -> Cannonball -> Flurry -> Facesmash -> Flurry provided you are at maximum mana capacity.
In cases where the enemy has an escape mechanism, you must Cannonball -> Flurry -> Flick -> Facesmash (While they are flicked) -> Flurry

The first case maximizes damage by flicking for the negative armor, and then keeping them stunlocked after the first Cannonball. The second case, after landing the Cannonball, you will be able to keep the enemy completely locked, with no room to blink or escape, provided you cast the spells in correct timing.

    Level 1 Flurry
    Level 2 Cannonball
    Level 3 Cannonball
    Level 4 Flick
    Level 5 Cannonball
    Level 6 Facesmash
    Level 7 Cannonball

    Level 10 Flurry
    Level 11 Facesmash
    Level 12 Flick
    Level 13 Flick
    Level 14 Flick

    Level 16 Facesmash

Side-Lane Panda:Although not as strong as the middle-lane panda, the side-lane is effective as well. Often you will want a strong support with you, preferably with a stun. With the amount of slows and stuns panda can provide, you can often pick up a kill with a strong support, such as Aluna/Andromeda/Glacius.

Depending on the lane/game situation, you will want to, after maxing Cannonball, decide whether you need more points into Flick/Flurry. It's normally best to maximize Flurry, because each point not only gives you another charge of Flurry, but increases the damage of every Flurry you use. But adding points to Flurry does increase how much mana you use, while the mana cost of Flick is always constant.

    Level 1 Cannonball
    Level 2 Flick
    Level 3 Cannonball
    Level 4 Flurry
    Level 5 Cannonball
    Level 6 Facesmash

    Item Build:
The Item build for Pandamonium has always been in debate. I have found that Pandamonium is THE only hero, amongst the hundred, that absolutely requires a form of quick mana-regeneration. For this, a quick mana-ring. The increased mana pool and constant source of mana regeneration is beyond useful when you're farming, and also doing teamfights. Let's not forget it also helps the team as well.

Here is the Panda build I've come to utilize, which works in most cases. For those who find it controversial to buy a Mana-ring and/or Portal Key on Pandamonium, let me assure you this works. I've constructed this build and have put it to use. In the recent Hontour Diamond tournament, against QsQ 357, this worked beautifully. In high-rated TMM games, this has also worked beautifully.

This is the core build, in order of purchase. As for beginning game items, the standard Stout-Shield, Hatchet, and Runes of Blight work best.

Phase Boots - For the mobility, and also the increased damage it gives, as it makes your Flurry/Facesmash stronger.
Mana Ring - For the mana pool, and the constant feed of mana regeneration.
Portal Key - Mobility, and initiation/gank. This is one of the key items for panda, only to be skipped if you ABSOLUTELY need a Shrunken Head first. Portal Key into any of Panda's opening moves can start the combo to take even a full health tank to 0 hp.
Shrunken Head - A very essential item, as you rely on being able to cast your spells in succession to take out an enemy. This item is also important in being able to channel your ultimate, Facesmash, fully.
Sol's Bulwark - Pandamonium is a 100% physical damage hero, so armor plays a big role. Flick, in addition to a negative Sol's Bulwark, will cause your Flurry, Cannonball, and Facesmash to do tremendous amounts of damage.

After these, you can purchase whatever you feel you need. Most often, you'll want to finish Sol's Bulwark into a Daemonic Breastplate, but no two games are the same.

    Summary
Pandamonium is a fully Physical damage hero, that deals a chain of attacks that keep the target locked down. As Panda's base mana pool is low, a mana-ring is highly recommended. Panda's spells all work in tandem with each other, so keep in mind that when you play Pandamonium, you're playing a combo-based hero. Panda cannot be used effectively if the spells are not used together correctly. In addition, picture Flurry as an extra auto-attack, to be used in between your flicks/stun/facesmash, as well as auto attacks.

Pandamonium is a very fun hero once you get around to learning how to play him.
I hope everyone enjoys this Pandamonium Guide, and I will create more if requested to.
