D3scene as your background
Here is a guide on how to set d3scene as your background

First start off by opening a text editor (not word or anything else that spells things for you) (i prefer notepad++)
Then enter:
Code:
 <html>
<body>
<iframe src="http://www.d3scene.com/forum/" width="100%" height="100%"></iframe>
</body>
</html>
Now save it as HTML
You can have anything as your desktop... just replace d3scene with something else....

Thanks. But how can you set this as your desktop? There is a white border around the frame. Do you by chance know how to remove it? Thanks.

How to set it as your desktop:
start by right clicking your dektop...
1: click properties
2: go to the "desktop" tab
3: click browse
4:choose whatever you saved this html document
5: click open
6:click apply
and tada! your done the border is thanks to the iframe.... but i dont know about any other way to make d3 as your desktop...

Its my father's office comp which he needed to use.
He took it home(his wrong choice) and it became mine

I have no idea why Vista cant read html background
Maybe because it just sucks..LOL...
Any Vista Pro can explain this?

Active Desktop has been removed in Windows Vista.
Perhaps it will work with DreamScene for Windows Vista Ultimate, but I don't think so...

That wouldnt give you uploaded threads, If you want d3 as your background with vista i would reccomend Freshfish' wallpaper ( And another new background )
He has one thats better, but i couldnt find it (i have it as my desktop so i could upload it in worst case )

You Can, But It Would Be A Picture. You Can't Interact With A JPG. It Would Be Like Going To An Art Museum, And Trying To Talk With A Painting, It Won't Work.

With the standard Editions of Windows Vista it is simply not possible to use *.HTML-Files as a background.
The Active-Desktop function has been completely removed.
DreamScene (only Windows Vista Ultimate) could make it possible, but this is not sure yet.
