| So, If I wanted to make a website could I use my home computer as a server for it and have a free domain or is it more complicated than that? |

| No, it's WAY more complicated than that. If you want to host a webserver on your computer then you must have a REALLY indepth understanding of web administration. Besides, it requires damn good specs. If you want a website, you need to pick a host, pick a package etc, buy a domain and code your website. Take a look at this if you're interested.
