Well, the easiest way to do this is if you have outlook or another mail program that you can set to scan for new emails every X# of seconds.
First, you need to know the phone # of the person who you want to text.
For AT+T, send your email to
phonenumber@txt.att.net
For Verizon, send to
phonenumber@vtext.com
For Sprint, use
phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
For T-Mobile it's
phonenumber@tmomail.com
For Alltell it's
phonenumber@message.alltel.com
for Boost Mobile it's
phonenumber@myboostmobile.com
For Nextel it's
phonenumber@messaging.nextel.com
For Virgin Mobile it's
phonenumber@vmobl.com
There is also an easier way to do this than writing down/memorizing all of those numbers.
The easier way is a free service called teleflip. All you need to do is send the email to
phonenumber@teleflip.com , and the free service will automatically route the text to the correct service provider.

NOTE- The person recieving the TXT messages
WILL still be charged message fees (based on their plan ofc), don't use this to be a complete asshole and run up someone's bill if they don't have unlimited texting.
