Maybe you have heard someting about Firefox Silent Edition.

I'm using it on my laptop, it has a lot of useful addons.

This tweaked google page is set to be visualized on google.com, if you are for example in canada you need to change the .com with .ca.
To do this follow these instructions:
0.type Google on your address bar then copy the what comes out : example "google.ca" without quotes for canada.
1.Install notepad++ get it here here
2.Open fire fox and go to: TOOLS/addon/Users styles/google neuropass.
3.now hit the EDIT buttons then right click on the text and select all.
4.Copy and paste it into a new text page. (notepad++ txt file)
5.Hit CTRL+F and type google.com select Replace from the menu and type your correct suffix (For example canada is google.ca) and then hit replace all.
6.It will overwrite 18 entries, then copy the whole script again and put it back on fire fox ovewriting the old one.

It 100% works on Vista. On XP i had some problems, i got two errors and unsuccesfull installation.

If you can not use the installer, you have to add these addons by your own. But you won't have the silent version! You will just have few addons from this firefox.

What is doing each addon is written on download pages. I like this version. Hope you enjoy it very well and surfing on the internet aswell. It is more comfortable.

I just copy here how to increase firefox speed if you need it:

Speed up Firefox

Note: This only works for Broadband users.

1- Type "about:config" without the quotes in the address bar

2-Filter (Click Ctrl 'F') to find these properties:

* network.http.pipelining
* network.http.proxy.pipelining
* network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

3-Right Click them or double click them way faster.

* Set 'network.http.pipelining' to 'true'
* Set 'network.http.proxy.pipelining' to 'true'
* Set network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 8



4- Right Click anywhere and select new->Integer. Name it
'glayout.initialpaint.delay' also without the quotes and set the value to 0

This will make pages load much faster.

If the installer won't work, you have to do it manually (go to addons page and start downloading). Thats my problem on PC. I don't have silent version, just only addons. On my laptop there is the Silent version, and it is different.
