I'm not reading really much but a I liked Patrick Senécal ( a french writter ) I read 2 books of him. 5150 rue des Ormes was excellent and Le Passager was good too but the first one was better

titles are in french don't know if he wrote in english

Mine isnt really a book its a comic series done by Coheed & Cambria's singer Claudio Sanchez. Was originally called the Bag On-Line Adventures, but was changed to Amory Wars...awesome series, all their music is based on the series.

My favorite book was/is

Invisible Monster, by Chuck Palahniuk

the author or Fight Club and Lullaby, both great books as well.

I'll also have to agree with Jok, Enders Game was a fantastic book.

I don't have a favourite book! I have a favourite serie called "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin.

The books, at the moment, are:
-A Game of Thrones
-A Clash of Kings
-Storm of Swords I
-Storm of Swords II
-A Feast for Crows

Some quotes:
"In the Game of Thrones, you win or you die, there's no middle ground"- Queen Cersei.
"The things I do for love"- Jaime.
"There are no men like me.There's only me."- Jaime.
"Maybe I never saw a camel, but I know a camel's c'nt when I smell one"- Arya.

If you like Fantasy, if you like realism (yeah, it may be fantasy, but here not all the blond princes are good and not all the fair maidens are virgins!, ASoIaF is yours.

Really, better than Paolini and Rowling, well made characters, a wide world full of legends. And here the characters do sh*t and f*ck. Fer Christ sake, here the characters feel real!

"Characters so venomous they could eat the Borgias" - The Guardian.

Expensive books though, if you want them in hard cover U_U

I read a lot of books at school. Last time, our teacher, gave us a REALLY girly book... And EVERYONE should read it... It's not that it was long (only 80 pages, or something like that... Don't remember exactly and it's like a month ago) But it was REALLY boring... Well I also read The golden compass 1 & 2, I also started on the 3rd but it's REALLY boring... But I can recommend The first and second book Oh and btw, The 1st one is VERY different from the movie... They let out really much stuff (didn't tell the whole thing) and they showed a scene at the end, and then another scene, but in the book, the second scene came before the first one... But the book is REALLY good (300-400 pages. Something like that xD (BOTH BOOKS))

EDIT: Didn't saw your post Server, but you also read The golden compass? xD I read it in Danish, although the original is in English!

Yeahh I read the first book in that series and realized it was only successful because a bunch of teenage girls thought they would one day meet a dreamy vampire.

My favorite series would have to be Harry Potter. I know that's pretty generic, but definitely amazing books. My favorite book out of the series would maybe be..... hmm.... any HP fan would probably agree with me that you can't really choose one, they just get better as they come out (i know that would mean the last one is the best.... but.... just stop asking questions). And I think the ending of the last book was a litttttle disappointing, but I wont go into detail.
