Rep Power: 5 | | What I hate about mac users is they usually say oh well it looks so much nicer, but you can easily add just as nice effects with something such as the object dock software. What I also don't like is how people are always saying macs are better for movies/graphics but you can get just as good if not better applications on windows they just don't come packed with it. If you want the security of a mac then just dual boot linux or something. | | D3scene |

Rep Power: 4 | | lol yeh i would expect Apple to be biased I do actually agree that you can get just as good performance etc of a mac in a windows comp. Modification for windows is a lot better than mac. You can barely get any other hardware or whatever for a mac which limits its possibilities. With windows you have endless amounts of gadgets and gizmos you can addon.
I just think macs come cool as standard but ofc you have to pay the price. If you really look at it you're better off getting all the bits for a windows comp and put it all together with a custom case etc and you'll probs get a better deal for your money . |

Rep Power: 2 | | | I have a mac book and a brand new custom built PC. For gaming, hands down PC (you probably know), but almost everything else, I use my mac. I'm big into recording music, so with a mac, I can transfer recorded tracks to iTunes with just a click. Personally, I love the way they look. I think for 95% of the population is better suited for a mac. I really only see getting a PC if 1.) intend to play a lot of games on it, or the most obvious 2.) you don't have an infinite budget. My mac book, with some extra bonus's, was around $1200. All together my computer that I built was around the same (not including my 24' HD moniter ^.^). I don't think the jump from PC to mac is really "challening", just click an extra button when you have to right click. If I were you I'd go with a mac book pro, ($2000) but if thats to much, cheapest mac would be the regular mac book. |

It never crashes, no bugs and runs adobe illustrator, photoshop. safari and ichat with 2gb of ram. You can't get that in a windows computer and expect it to run regularly. They are a little pricey but it was worth every penny. I had no problem spending all the money I made over the summer to get my macbook. The new touch pad is the best. It's probably one of the best features aside from the graphics and how stable the whole thing is. If you want quality and long lasting computer go with mac. My mom had the old white macbook with 1 gb of ram for a few years and it still runs faster then my windows computer that i've had for around the same amount of time.
I had a reg windows for most of my life and grew up with it and I've had a mac for a month. So far I'm convinced windows sucks.

1.because in windows you can download and play any game you want
2.you download any program (hacks cheats, others) and use it
I can say mac for people who have works and get computer to work in it he must use mac
and any hacker in any game or other hacks or cheater and gamer he must use windows!!! window for hackers | Lol volund, macs just better for what i use it for these days.
The way you put it windows is for script kiddies etc. You'd be surprised what real hackers can do with both operating systems. But, real hackers prefer linux. |

Rep Power: 12 | | | Way too expensive if you ask me. For a normal macbook you are paying around 300-400 more - just for the name. I can't support it as it is unix based and selling unix-based systems is a pain in the a** for everyone that uses linux. | | D3scene |
