Using hacks with a Mac.....

Hey i play WOW on a mac and i was wondering how i could get any of this work on it? Ive tried using some and Im on a Power PC so i cant run the EXE files. Any way i could use any hacks?

hum, i dont really understand macs so the following may be totally r-tarded

try finding a converter that can change exe's
use a web tool that allows macs to run exe's
talk to the hack creators to see if they have other platforms besides exe to run

One way of getting around this is actually getting a program called Parallels Desktop. Basically what it does is create a partition on your computer than runs on windows. Or if you have the new Mac OS Leopard (i think it is) then they have got a new program called boot camp which they added which is the exact same thing.

Once you've got one of these running then you can install WoW and your programs with .exe as you are essentially running on windows. I personally haven't fully used it but i'm guessing that it could be slow but its worth a try!

ok here is you're options: you can use boot camp and then install windows xp, you can use vmware thats makes the same thing as boot camp but is maybe a little easier, you can install parallels and just run the program thru it or you can install crossover that does the same job as parallels

P.S. parallels, crossover and vmware are programs you have to buy...(you can get a pirated version) but any way...

Let a Genius at your local Apple Store move your stuff from your PC to your new Mac. It shouldn't cost to much.

Ok just got my parallels working with xp so im starting to test things out. Just to make clear there isn't a way to transfer applications from a pc to a mac. Files you can but apps no. The only way to ever use windows stuff is what im doing now. Only problem is i've heard that the partition you make won't be able to use 3d games such as wow and that its only really good for files and small applications.
