Tribal Totem

Difficulty level: Easy

Start location: Talk with Kangai Mau in Brimhaven.

Required:

Skills: Level 21 Thieving.

Talk with Kangai Mau, and he will tell you that he lost his totem. Lord Handlemort stole it from him. Go to Ardougne, and look for Lord Handlemorts mansion, its a little north-west of the south bank, west of the market place. You wont be able to get in, so you need to find an other way. Speak to the gardener and ask him about the mansion's security. He will tell you that the locks are accessed by a secret code, which happens to be Lord Handelmort's middle name.

Find the building west of the south bank and pick up the tourist guide and read it. The book will tell you Lord Handelmort's middle name, which is Kurt. Go find the wizard named Cromperty, he is located north-east of the market place, and ask what he has invented, then where the other block is. Talk to the Wizard again, and ask him to teleport you. You will be teleported to the RPDT office, south of the south bank. In the depot, investigate the crates. When you have found the crate to Lord Handlemorts and investigated it, the crate's label will have been put into your inventory automatically. Find the crate addressed to the Wizard's Tower (find it by investigating). Use the label with this crate. After you've covered the crate's original label with the new one, talk with an employee of the depot.

Ask the employee to deliver the crates. Go back to the wizard, and once more ask what he has invented, and ask him to teleport you again. He will agree and you will end up inside the Mansion. Go through the first door, towards the room with the staircase. Try to enter the door on the west side. This will need a combination; enter "K U R T" (Lord Handlemorts middle-name). Investigate the stairs to discover the trap. Go up the stairs and search the chest for the the totem. When you find it, go back down the stairs and leave through the front door. Return the totem to Kangai Mau, who will reward you.

Reward:

5 swordfish
1,775 thieving exp
Quest points gained on completion: 1
