Post Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - The Movie - Critique

Hey Guys.

I watched this film before some days and I want you to tell what I'm thinking of it!

Special Effects

The film is full of special effects!
I think they are as good as in the other HP-Parts!
In my opinion, they are even better..

The Story

If you have read the book, then you will notice that there are some key scenes missing. In my opinion, the book was boring, except the last 100 sites! The film was like the book, just more worse.
In the book the last pages made me addicted and they were full of Action Scenes!
But in the movie, these last pages are just some minutes. They are undetailed and a lot of the book is missing here aswell!

But what is more worse than missing scenes ?
RIGHT! When you're confused watching the movie and his story!
In the movie there are some scenes missing, but also some scenes are " invented ". There's nothing in the book written about this and you're sitting in the cinema like " wtf ?! ".

All in all

The problem between the movie and the book is, that J.K. Rowling has invented an own special world. A world, where the magicians and the mystical creatures are the center of the story! But in the movie, they are "irrelevant" and that they can perform magic is like a small surprise in the movie.
The magic of the old movies is missing in my opinion. Even the anxious mood of the book is missing in the movie. It's always a beautiful world, where the characters are playing.

I think it's not worth to watch the movie in the cinema..
JUST, if you haven't read the book.
When you have read it, you can't enjoy the movie.

I hope you enjoyed reading through my review.
If there's something wrong in your opinion, post it and perhaps I'll edit my post

Best regards, Tracky

I agree. I read the book, and the movie was making me say wtf quite often.

They are very different. Too different. But, I liked the entire book, not just the last few pages, so I wasn't that disappointed.

The movie is awesome, with great actors and a very good chose of music. But the book is much better. And the movie is not exactly like the book.
