How to make your own server 97d!The real way!

1st of all download Microsoft SQL 2000 from google,Just search microsoft SQL 2000 downloads...
i just fix link later...

2nd download server files from here
RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

3rd download client from here
Game Downloads, Game Patches - FileFront.com

No need patch cos patch is in
MuServer/MuTools/ServerTools/Patch/

Mu Server Contains
Dupe Finder
Mu 2004 reset chars
Launcher Builder
Guild Editor
Vault Editor
Mu Editor2.1
And
Client Patch...

Now To Get Busy

Note: Extract MuServer To D:/ or any drive but i prefer D:/

After you downloaded
Microsoft SQL 2000
Follow this installation method...

step1ress SQLEVAL
click finish...
click yes
and ok...

step2:Then go to the Drive where you extract the file
example C:/SQLEVAL
Now enter in C:/SQLEVAL and double click the setup.exe

click next!

keep local computer! press next!

create new instance of SQL server,or install client tools! next!

now type a name and company make it up! and press next!

click Yes!

keep server and client tools! click next!

keep default! next!

keep typical! next!

keep use the same account for each service,Auto start SQL server service,and keep local system account.

click next!

keep mixed mode!

type a password! note: this password is important list it somewhere!

click next!

click next!

and it will start to install! this will take more than 1 minute!

then click finish!

Now got to start/Microsoft SQL server/service manager/
then press play or start... note:we need to start this to restore the database...

Now Restoring the 2 databases:
go to start>Microsoft SQL sever>interprise manager...

then click
Microsoft SQL servers
SQL server group
local windows NT
databases!

then make 2 database
name it MuOnline and Ranking

Then right click MuOnline
then go to
from device>select device>add>...>D:/MuSever>db>db baks then Choose MuOnline!
click ok 2 times!
go to options
and choose force restore over existing database,and keep,leave database operational!
click ok!

Then do the same with Ranking But choose the ranking not muonline!

were almost done!

But We need to Restore ips and SQL passwords!

Note:there are two kinds of ip.
local ip
and global ip.

but in order to try your server 1st put local ip!
but if you want your server to be online so others can connect put your global ip!

now go to,open with note pad!
D:\MuServer\CS\Connectserverlist and change 127.0.0.1 and changed it with your ip

and do the same with
D:\MuServer\CS\data\Connectserverlistand change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and:
D:\MuServer\CS\data\ServerInfo and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\CS\data\ServerList and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\data\IpList and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\data\commonserver change the 3 ip's
from chaosevent server,devilsquareeventserver,eventshipserverip

and
D:\MuServer\data\lang\chs\commonloc change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\data\lang\kor\commonloc and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\data\lang\tai\commonloc and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\Links\4 and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

and
D:\MuServer\Links\8 and change the 2 ip's 127.0.0.1 with your ip

Changing SQL passwords
the password you entered in the SQL installation.

D:\MuServer\RankingServer\svconfig put your SQL Pass

D:\MuServer\MU2003_EVENT_SERVER\DATA\svconfig put your SQL Pass


now almost done...

extract the client anywhere.
after that copy the patch from
D:/muserver/mutools/servertools/patch
and paste it in the client...

after that make your own launcher from launcher builder
you can find it in D:/Muserver/MuTools/ServerTools/LauncherBuilder

then follow this:
enable option
Name of the server:
server page: name of the server
server hostname the ip you entered
then port 44405...

go to D:/MuServer/ODBC click it and press ok!

now the final step!

go to
D:/Muserver/MuServerStartUp/
press stop
and put your ip...

thats all!

Ragezone is fucking awesome and 100000 better for MU Online,thats where all the real admins and coders go.D3 is awesome but never say that RageZone sucks,ever again,cos thats a lie and you know it.

Darksteam is awesome.Hard working admins such as ReaL and DarkMaster.They are hardworking,released some of the best guides and have made one of the most commonly used and professional ConnectServers.

Ragezone kid developed half of what you're using so watch what you say, They also developed just about every other private server existent or really respected members of theres did it, It was there development that gave us free online mmo's.

Oh and greatdragonmu, This tutorial sucks.. I even tested it just to see if what im saying is valid i couldn't get it running
