MUOnline Server 97d guide

Now I will teach u how to make a MU Online Server version 0.97d!
You'l need to be paintiant

First Step
-------------------------------------
First u need :

Minimum
* Procesor 1.0GHz, 256 RAM

- If u want to play with more player u will need :

* Procesor 1.5Ghz, 512 MB RAM


If u want to play nicely , with no lag , no bugs and more u will need :

* Procesor 2.2Ghz, 1024 MB RAM


Now we need to get our ip

Go in Start --> Run



write cmd and press ok!


now write ipconfig and Enter


and now it will aeare your ip adress Atention! that is mine ip not your (for Newbie or noobs)

Open the SQLEVAL.exe and:


Press Yes!


Press ok!


Now enter in C:/SQLEVAL and double click the setup.exe

Creation of the two DataBase and restore of them

Now after we finish instaling the Microsoft SQL Server we need to create 2 databases : MuOnline and Raking and we restore them.
We put the MuServer in D:/ and them we enter Start->Programs->Microsoft SQL Server->Enterprise Manager


Now we have to create the first database , follow the images:

Now we write MuOnline and press OK!

Now we created the MuOnline database , now right click on it All tasks -> Restore Database...

now marck From Device and click Select Devices...

Now click ADD

Now we click the 3 points "..."

Now we chose D:\MuServer\db baks and press OK!

Press OK!

Press OK!

Press OK!


Now we have to creat the second db (database) : Ranking , now follow the images , it's like at MuOnline

Server Configuration

Now go in D:\MuServer and change the ip's

D:\MuServer\CS\Connectserverlist and change 127.0.0.1 and changed it with your ip

D:\MuServer\CS\data\Connectserverlistand change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\CS\data\ServerInfo and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\CS\data\ServerList and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\data\IpList and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\data\commonserver change the 3 ip's



D:\MuServer\data\lang\chs\commonloc change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\data\lang\kor\commonloc and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\data\lang\tai\commonloc and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\Links\4 and change 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\Links\8 and change the 2 ip's 127.0.0.1 with your ip

D:\MuServer\RankingServer\svconfig put your SQL Pass

D:\MuServer\MU2003_EVENT_SERVER\DATA\svconfig put your SQL Pass

Launcher creation

You need to do a launcher for the server ... the "Lanchert Buider" you can get it from here extract it and double click on Launcher Builder

Creation of an account
-------------------------------------

For the beggining you need the program MuEditor.After u downloaded it you put it in MuServer and extract it, double click MuEdit.exe anf follow the images:



Now your acc is create!

Server opening

Now you have to open the server.It is very easy , now go in D:\MuServer\Links and open 1 - 8 patiantly and wait

Connection on server

You need 3 elements for connection on the server : client , patch and laucher
-you extract the client and put any name
-extract the patch on the client "Yes to all"
-put the launcher createb by you in client , double click and connect
