Open the SQLEVAL.exe and:


Press Yes!


Press ok!


Now enter in C:/SQLEVAL and double click the setup.exe

Creation of the two DataBase and restore of them

Now after we finish instaling the Microsoft SQL Server we need to create 2 databases : MuOnline and Raking and we restore them.
We put the MuServer in D:/ and them we enter Start->Programs->Microsoft SQL Server->Enterprise Manager


Now we have to create the first database , follow the images:

Now we write MuOnline and press OK!

Now we created the MuOnline database , now right click on it All tasks -> Restore Database...

now marck From Device and click Select Devices...

Now click ADD

Now we click the 3 points "..."

Now we chose D:\MuServer\db baks and press OK!

Press OK!

Press OK!

Press OK!


Now we have to creat the second db (database) : Ranking , now follow the images , it's like at MuOnline












Now enter D:\MuServer\CustomDB\config:

D:\MuServer\cs\ConnectServerList

D:\MuServer\cs\ServerList

D:\MuServer\cs\data\ConnectServerList

D:\MuServer\cs\data\ServerList

D:\MuServer\cs\data\ServerInfo

D:\MuServer\data\commonserver
ChaosEventServer = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
DevilSquareEventServer = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
EventChipServerIp = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Change xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with your ip
D:\MuServer\data\IpList

D:\MuServer\data\lang\chs\commonloc

D:\MuServer\data\link4

D:\MuServer\data\link8

D:\MuServer\GameServer\config

D:\MuServer\GameServer\mx_config

D:\MuServer\MU2003_EVENT_SERVER\DATA\svconfig

D:\MuServer\RankingServer\svconfig


Now you can open the server.Go in D:\MuServer\links and you open patiantly from 1-8.If you don't get any error that means your server works 100%.

Glad to see Ragezone isn't the only forum with MuOnline :p

I have been looking for 1.01e server for a looong time.
Ok,firstly,when you say your IP do you mean 127.0.0.1 or the local IP?(the one you get from start>run>cmd/ipconfig?)

And there is no link to full client :/ just patch and server files.
Otherwise good work,I will try to put this server online.

well millamber , u can find an 1.01e client on the mu tops and put the patch , and for your ip , enter What's My IP Address? Your IP is 88.198.57.239

Its ok,I got the Client now :grin: I doubt its Global Wan IP which needs to be put in files :/ But anyway,I will do a lot of testing and work it out like I have always done.

It won't let me download the MuServer file, says error with file :|

Error fixed.That skill error was because I had changed the language (3) which is chinese to o,which is english in the commonserver.
But now here are my 2 problems :
After gameserver.exe starts up I het these 2 errors:
1.Please input authentication server address and port number
2.Login server connect fail

The IPs are 127.0.0.1 everywhere except in Connectserver files I put my local IP so I can connect on Lan.So...do I follow ur guide and put in Global IP or Local IP if I want to connect on Lan as a router?
