i need help!!!
i followed all of the steps so far but every time i try to create an acount through account create (MD5) it says something about failing to connect to the Server.
I put both databases in in checked the option needed in both.
also i am using windows vista can anyone help... thanks

Simple to fix :laugh:
Your sql system isnt encrypted with MD5 yet.Therefore I will help you add it to your sql.Now do not worry,it is very easy to do(and quick) just follow these simple steps :
(And by the way,I love Linkin Park :smiley

Open the MD5 account create folder(not the program)
Do you see the module(file) called WZ_MD5_MOD.dll ?
Select it

First Of All Copy WZ_MD5_MOD.dll In The Next Directory:
Default:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn
Custom:
\SQL Server Directory\MSSQL\Binn

And there,it has been fixed! :p if it still no work I will release CzF editor where you can create account(dont use to edit inventory items as it doesnt work with 1.2q version)

thanks for the info.
i tried it and no progress:undecided:

it still says something about sqlstate:28000 and ODBC read session connect failed.
im going to try resseting my pc and try again if it works ill let you know... thanks

EDIT: thanks Milamber it worked restarting my computer was the key.

thanks for the offer i think i got it to work
it was a problem with some of the ips

just one more question.
can i set it up so that i can play from the computer running the server and others can join across the internet

Nope.
To release on global,CS> Global IP
Launcher : needs your hostname.You can maker on free at No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP

You can connect for 30sec with port 55901 on ur local pc.

But as a server is supposed to run on a dedicated server computer and a modem just for server to minimize traffic lag,you cant connect normally.

If you want to host a professional server,you will need professional equipment.Contact christopher for more information,he's a genius at this :biggrin:

i probly wont buy a dedicated server anytime soon but sometime later this year i am planning on buying a faster pc.
i probly wont run a professional server but just play with friends and whoever they ask to join.
And after searching a bit i installed microsoft loopback adapter so that i could connect to my own server.
I think it will work for a personal server though.
i had one friend connect and he said there wasnt any lag with me playing and running the server.

i still couldnt get it to work..this time i did everything...i forward all the ports from connection..but when i load the launcher it shows Faronnia server name still? o_O and when i click it i get disconnect and then your guide states me to use WTF Editor which i did and i opened the Message_chs but when i try to replace the names..it states that this message was from "Wind" Mu? o_O?...and NOT 1 NAME of Faronnia was there?? o_O it just says WIND this and WIND that.so how can i replace the Faronnia Name if the word is not even there?...is there any way to connect?..i forwarded all ports already and made the MuStartup Ips to 127.0.0.1...Please Help
