| Login Server connect fail > my first error with mu files. Luckily,its easy to fix Lynn :grin: Its just an IP problem. -First check that you are router,and not non-router -Make sure you changed all IPs to Local and Global where it says to do so.Note that Local IP and Global IP are completely different things,so this is very important. No,go to MuServer>MuServerStartUp text and make sure all IPs there are 127.0.0.1 When server starts up make sure it says as starting IP : 127.0.0.1 My files have been setup for routers so there is just a minimum to change. | CuteLyn... You can connect to your server if your launcher and/or "C:\MuServer\ConnectServer\CSconfig" has Local IP "[SERVER0] LIST3=3,YOUR IP,55901", if you do want others connect to your server, then you would need a launcher and the "YOUR IP" place with your Global Wan IP. If you put Local IP you can use Microsoft Loopback to connect also to your server, but i advise to try following this and Mialmber's guide FIRST to get everithing to work ^_^ Hope this helps, good luck ~Kety~ |

| Help! Hello Sir! um..i seem to have a problem trying to figure this out..i already completed the sets but im stuck on the one "Server Setup" you say to use the Start>Run>and CMD??..um..i dont understand |

| Thanks Macbeth finally someone responds  but i stilll have a problem with the Mapserver...because the one i see is in DAT. format..but the guide says its a text?... |
