hmm i wouldnt really count iron maiden in death metal for one i do not hear no growling or any sort of non melodic guitar or drums

same with van halen halen is more hair metal and there not even close to death metal

Black Metal: Mayhem, Mercyful Fate, King Diamon, Venom, Celtic Frost, Bathroy, Emperor, Burzum

Death Metal: Morbid Angel, Obituary, Dissection, Death, Gorgoroth,

Any old Metal Bands u know what i mean

errr, i definately would not classify most of those under any metal >_< cannibal corpse is just homo children of bodom, parkway drive, devil wears prada, killswitch engage,from first to last, the list keeps goin #1

although i like a lot of those bands slip knot has some good songs but i'd say i only like 60% of theres

EDIT: nvm missed most of the post ya a lot of em are good but errr you probably wouldn't know of most bands i listen too those are deffinately not underground

I don't personally listen to any of those other bands myself, besides slipknot. But those bands are pretty good. Dead you also listen to some really good music to.

not true Maiden and Halen are not catergorized as death metal maiden is more melodic than death metal as i said before in another post on here halen is hair metal not even close to death metal plz get it right im not trying to make fun of u in disrespect but stating the obvious
