Nintendo 64 Emulator Guide
I know Tresspass allready posted a little about emulators, but i think we need more information about this subject as this is a very cool opportunity to play some old games such as Super Mario 64
What is an Emulator?
-An emulator is a program that runs a video game consoler on your computer, means you can play Nintendo 64, Ps1, Ps2, Xbox, Gameboy, etc. etc on the pc using a program to launch some roms
What is a Rom?
-A rom is actually the game, Its the file you need to open with your emulator in order to play the game. You can download them from much places such as: CoolROM.com - ROMs and Emulators - SNES ROMs NES ROMs Neo Geo ROMs Genesis ROMs N64 ROMs MAME ROMs Which i have been using a lot
So, how do i get an Emulator?
Right here --> The Emulator Zone - Your Source for Emulation!
If you want to play Nintendo 64 games i uploaded it for all of you guys who are too lazy to visit the site
Download: RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
I downloaded the emulator and the rom, what do i do now?
Well, i guess you want to play, So open your emulator and press: File -> Open file -> find your rom, and open, I've only tried Project 64 which i have been very pleased with, so here is a simple guide:
Open Project 64

Do as i did in the picture and you should have this:
Search and find your rom and open it, the game should start and you are ready to play
Are their any kinds of cheats i can use?
Yes, for every single game there are added some cheats, just go to menu, System -> Cheats,
Picture:

A new box should open with a list of cheats, like here (NOTE: This is only for the Project 64, i haven't tried on the other emulators, but i guess its the same)

I've seen some nice video's on youtube with some nice hacks for Super Mario 64, How do i do that?
Well, I guess you mean videos like these?
Super Mario 64 Classis Nes Edition:
YouTube - Super Mario 64 Classic NES Edition
Super Mario 64 - Some Crazy GameShark Codes
YouTube - Super Mario 64 - Some Crazy GameShark Codes!
Super Mario 64 Ultimate Gameshark
YouTube - Super Mario 64 Ultimate Gameshark Tour - Part 1
Okay, so to do all that you need to add your own piece of code
Here is a guide on how to do it:
First of all you need make sure you unhide the advanced options, Do like shown in the pictures:
First go to the settings:

Then go to Options and make sure all is like shown below, the box needs to be unchecked

Now you go back to the cheatbox and right click a random place, this should appear:

Click on: Add new code
A new box appears like this:

At the top of the box you can type in the name you want for the cheat, and to the right you type in the code, which is needed for the cheat to work
Here is an exampel:

Now press: Add Cheat, check it in the cheat menu and look what happend in the game
Here is my result:

Yaay i turned Mario into a Goomba xD

I know this is only exampels of the Super Mario 64 game, but its the game i've played the most on my N64,
