Introduction

Perfect World Online is a Massive Multiplayer Online Game that features a fantastic world set on Ancient China, with all its living legends...
In this beautifully looking game, you can make a unique character due to a outstandingly complete character costumization system.
You can also fly, and engage in air battles, you can Swin and battle underwater monsters, you can do somersaults, run, ride dragons and velociraptors, horses, Deers, etc.

The game, unlike many Asian MMORPGs, is not very grind-Intensive, and has several quests that can be made to progress the game. This game has 100+ lvls (some say 105, others 120), and at least you can make it to 70 solely with quests.

Some of these quest require you to kill a determined number of foes 5~30 (usually), or to go to someplace to talk to a NPC, or even to gather a given number of materials from ore pits, or plants that are scattered around the World.

This game features a crafting system where you can gather materials from dead animals AND plants and rocks scattered around the world, and then use them together with specific NPCs to craft weapons, armors, accessories, and even potions and healing items.

You can swim from lvl 1, and can fly at lvl 30 (except Wing Kind that can fly from lvl 1, but with some limitations.) Each class has a unique method of flying: Wing Kind have wings (from Swan wings to Gorgeous Cristal Wings), Beast Kind ride Flying Beasts (from the Starter flying Manta Ray to the great looking Two Headed Dragon), and Humans Fly on magical Weapons (Mostly Swords).

This game has an amazing collection of Weapons, most of which are equipable by all classes.
The Armor system is equal to Silkroads, where you may choose to equip a Heavy, light or Magical Armor, depending on what you want your char to do...


This game features 3 Races, and 2 Classes per race, for a total of 6 Classes:

Human

Wu Xia
The Human Warriors, these are hardy fighters that can specialize in a vast array of weapons from their bare hands to massive spears. These Weapons include Swords, Blades, Axes, Spears, Fist and Claws, and dual or Two Handed versions of all Swords, Blades and Axes.

Fa Shih
The Human Mages, These Mages specialize in elemental Magics of Fire, Water and Earth Elements, like all classes they can wield most kinds of weapons, but fare better with magical Instruments, such as Magic Swords, Wheels, or Wands.

Wing Kind (Elves)

Yu Mang
The Wing Archers, Yu Mang are deadly at a distance, firing Arrows, Bolts or Bullets, Yu Mang, are proficient with Bows, CrossBows and Slings. Like all Wingkind, Yu Mang are born with wings, and have the ability to fly at early lvls.

Yu Ling
The Wing Healers are great supporters, but don't be fooled, they are also great warriors who can also weaken their enemies, as well as strengthening their allies... Yu Ling, like mages, use Magical Instruments to increase their magical skills. Like all Wingkind, Yu Ling are born with wings, and have the ability to fly at early lvls.


Beast Kind

Yao Shou
Beast Warriors are great fighters, these brave warriors rely on their transformation skills as well as in their Axes and Maces to defeat their Enemies. These warriors are quite hardy, and when transformed, are very resistant to damage. Unlike their human counter part, these massive warriors prefer to wield Dual Axes or Maces, or Two Handed Axes or Maces.The Beast Kind, unlike other races train only their men as warriors.

Yao Jing
Beast Summoners are a deceptive and cunning class. These seductive females seduce even animals to join their cause. Their main power is to tame, and summon what once was their enemy to battle with them, sometimes against their brethren. Together with this already strong skill, summoners can invoke the power of nature to poison, and injure their enemies in all the ways nature has to hurt their enemies. Summoners are not only powerful enemies, but also valuable allies, since they possess the skill to also assist their allies in battle. Summoners like Mages prefer to wield magical Instruments to enhance their magical skills.

How to play

Perfect World is a Chinese MMORPG, and at the moment there is only one English Version, the Philippino version, but this version has a IP block, and can only be played in the Philippines.
The Malaysian Distributor has already announced the release of a International English version without a IP block.

Just from the pics. it looks alright, not great graphics, but then again, no game has them ;P

I might try it, I have a 70 in WoW and not quite ready to give that up.
